Accessibility
Moai should be usable by every member of a family, whatever their age and abilities. This page says where we stand, without claiming a conformity that no one has yet verified.
What the app supports
- Screen readers: VoiceOver on iPhone and TalkBack on Android. Every button has a label, and actions available through a long press are also available to the screen reader.
- Text size: the app follows the text size chosen in the phone's settings.
- Contrast and theme: light and dark themes, followed automatically.
- Touch targets: at least 44 points.
- Animations: the "Reduce motion" setting is respected.
- Layout: every tab stays visible; text size follows the phone's accessibility settings.
What remains to be done
The app has not yet been audited for accessibility by a third party against the European standard EN 301 549. Some screens may therefore have defects: maps, date pickers, the photo viewer.
Reporting a difficulty
